It’s an understatement to say it was a privilege to be apart of Luke and Cierra’s day. We loved every minute of shooting them. Shooting weddings allows us to be with people when they are at some of their all time highs. Thank you for trusting us to capture your day the way it truly was – filled with love.

Fall (Autumn) always seems to be the most popular season to get photos done. It’s not only the busiest wedding season, but also for family, couple, and many more different types of shoots! But why?!? Besides the weather cooling down and easing into winter which is a huge favorite, the Fall brings to life these warm bright colors that have such a nostalgic feeling. And so many people love those colors and that feel! Fall California Weddings are some of our favorites! We believe that as you look through this gallery you’ll feel those warm feels that the Fall brings.
The Union Hill Inn in Sonora, California is such a beautiful venue to have a wedding at! Before we even get into the chapel and reception location, let’s talk getting ready photos! Having dedicated getting ready spots for the guys and girls on the same property adds a huge dose of stress free to a wedding day… and the Union Hill Inn had that!
The Union Hill had a beautiful little pond right in front of the chapel! We thought this was a golden spot for a first look location! Draped with weeping willows, this spot brought a bright airy feel to the photos but still allowed for a bold intimate moody feel. That’s a lot of adjectives, but we feel it in the photos!
For brides in California that love Intimate and rustic feels, this chapel is for you! It was dimmed, moody, lit by candles and super romantic. Although dimmed and moody, there was quite a bit of natural light that came through the high windows! It also has the classic single isle we all love. And to add to the mix, Luke and Cierra looked da bomb dot com!!
We took Luke and Cierra around the property at the Union Hill and found some patches of pampas grass. A great rule of thumb, if you see pampas grass, you stop and photograph by the pampas grass. It’s beautiful, airy and adds a nice background! We ended up walking along a road on the property and took some intimate veil photos! All of which was completed in 30 minutes!
Luke and Cierra’s wedding at The Union Hill Inn proved to be a dreamy rustic wedding. But after spending the whole day with them, they themselves were the best part of the day. Their love is so true and we enjoyed being in such intimate moments they shared in their day. Definitely the top reason we love being wedding photographers is the fact that we are able to capture these moments for couples that will last them forever.
